Some businesses prefer to include fixed charges, such as a "Delivery Fee" or "Service Charge," on customer bills.
The Fixed Charge option allows you to add a specific, set amount as an extra fee, which is not calculated as a percentage of the order total.
You can now manage product taxes and charges easily by clicking on the "Add Tax / Charge" option found under the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the main billing interface.
This feature gives you the flexibility to toggle taxes and charges on or off as needed, providing greater control over your billing process.
The "Charges" function has been discontinued and is now incorporated into the "Taxes/Charges" section.
You can manage supplementary fees like "Service Charges" within the "Taxes/Charges" section, offering a more streamlined approach.
The "Invoice Tax" has been eliminated, and you can generate it using the "added to the price" option within the "Tax and Charge" feature.
This simplifies the tax handling process and provides a more integrated approach to billing.
Clicking on a Price Plan item will open an item customization dialog box.
You can conveniently select the pricing plan, add quantities, and apply discounts, all within the same dialog box.
This updated method simplifies managing various prices for a single product, such as wholesale and retail prices.
Product-wise Discount plan options are now accessible within the item customization dialog.
Receipt-wise discount plans are conveniently located under a discount icon in the main receipt interface.
You have the flexibility to toggle these discounts on or off as needed, offering more control over your discount strategies.
In certain businesses, various service options are offered to customers. For instance, in a restaurant, customers can choose from Dining, Takeaway, and Delivery options. Within the POS System, these options can be associated with a specific "Charge." For example, when a customer selects the Dining option, the POS user should be able to designate it, and the system will automatically apply the corresponding Service Charge.
To set a default order type, enable the "default" option in the Backoffice settings, specifically in the order types section. When generating a bill, select the appropriate "Order Type" from the Point of Sale (POS) application. This selected order type will be printed on the receipt.
Ensure that any additional charges associated with the selected order type are assigned accordingly. If any taxes apply to the products, make sure to assign them as well.
